Title: Urban Diptychs

For me the design of an image – the arrangement and colour of the visual elements – is often as important as the subject and the location. These five images are part of a larger project that set out to illustrate this by juxtaposing pairs of images from different environmental contexts and often varying significantly in scale. The elements here come from four different countries and range from a few centimetres to over twenty metres across.
