This was taken above the Camargue, an area of wetlands in the South of France, from an open sided helicopter. The colours are from algae that thrive in very salty water and these are salt pans for the production of sea salt. I was aiming for very graphic abstract photographs that use the colours to create an otherworldly view. This was taken in May 2023
