Title: Forsaken Places

About the Photo:

The Photographic Project “Forsaken Places” is inspired by the timelessness of an abandoned space-place that encloses the narration of human stories. It essentially presents the “psychogram” of an abandoned place through the “conceptual framework”. Space is a place of encounter with the reality that contains it. Each place is a unique world. Familiar or unfamiliar, with a nostalgic atmosphere, echotopia or with the identity of a memory, it is undoubtedly subjectively perceived but existent for whoever is in it. However, his narrative involves the “world space” of human “levitation”. Shots have been taken, after permission to photograph, in the psychiatric department of the abandoned building “Bodosakeio” of the Attica Psychiatric Hospital in Dafni.
