Title: Mary’s Shell

About the Photo:

This sculpture is called Mary’s Shell and is situated on the beach at Cleveleys in Lancashire. It is part of the Mythic Coast art trail which brings the story of the Sea Swallow. The sculpture gets consumed by the tides twice a day and makes for a great structure to shoot for a long exposure. The curls of the metallic frame contrast beautifully with the smoothed out waters surrounding its base.
