This was put together from a series of phone pics of sculptures in West Dean Garden in Sussex. They were overlaid, manipulated and blended using the PhotoSplit app on my iPhone, including inserting a the smaller square inside the larger square to emphasise the blended colour differences.
I was taken with the curved shapes of the sculpture and played with them – until settling on this version which seems to offer an abstract figure “2”.
I have left the imperfections in the image as I prefer their authenticity to the more perfect lines that might be achieved with further work in photoshop.
