This is my close-up glimpse of Daniel Buren’s h-shaped structure “Arcs Rouges” of the La Salve Bridge in Bilbao. I tried to convey the essence of what the artist had in his mind when conceiving this sculpture: making the bridge more visible, dressing its surface with a vivid red color because color was for him “inexpressible”, of absolutely sensorial importance.
