Overlooking the hills that straddle the Cheshire Plain from the Goyt Valley (Peak District) during a Fog Inversion in late 2024, a brief gap appeared just where this farmstead stands across the other side of the valley. With the rising sun to my back and the light almost perfect I immediately grabbed this shot before the scene quickly disappeared from view and was lost again to the fog.
