My wife was traveling and I had one job to do: keep her plants alive. I managed to fail spectacularly at that. Living in a desert allowed them to die and dry slowly. Their slow desiccation resulted in very interesting flower and stem shapes, which I think make their current state more beautiful than when they were alive.
