The city is a noisy, three-dimensional, and massive collection of geometry, a space where countless pieces of information and stories are intertwined. I undertook the task of filtering this chaotic three-dimensional world through the frame of a camera and reducing it to a solid two-dimensional ‘plane’. Based on materials captured while traveling around Seoul and various locations in Gyeonggi-do, where I live, I added abstract elements to complete the ‘narrative warmth’ I sought.
