Silent geometries – Davide Novelli

HONORABLE MENTION IN ARCHITECTURE

Davide Novelli

Title:

Silent geometries

Description

My city, Alessandria (Italy), is often described as gray, devoid of visual stimuli.
Yet, observed through minimalism, it changes.
Lines, shapes, and colors emerge discreetly: balconies, windows, and facades become essential signs, suspended in a large, silent space.
The sky is not a backdrop, but accompanies and defines every balance.
In this reduction, the city becomes lighter and allows itself to be interpreted in a new way.
No longer uniform, but made of rhythm, measure, and unexpected details.
