This work is an attempt to stay afloat, to adapt, and to construct—out of the minimal and the false—a fragile structure on which to remain standing.
We live in a culture that celebrates the appearance of well-being. Smile, produce, function. But when the mind begins to crack, the environment almost always steps away. There is no space for weakness, and the body registers it. Discomfort is concealed, softened, disguised, and eventually turns into silence. In a context where socio-health structures fail and social networks romanticize everything, pretending becomes a survival strategy.

This visual essay emerges from that tension: between what is expected of us and what we are actually able to sustain; between the impulse to disappear and the effort to keep existing. And in that effort, we end up bending—slightly, or completely.The images do not illustrate pathology, but rather the ways of holding oneself within it. Bodies yield, dissolve, deform, or merge with soft structures and chromatic fields that operate as both refuge and shield. Color is not decorative; it functions as an alert system, allowing visibility without full exposure.
