Taken on an autumn evening in Bologna, Italy, while walking home with a friend. On the sidewalk we stopped in front of the fogged window of a gym: inside, a man was training under the neon lights. His figure was blurred, almost dissolved in the condensation, yet his silhouette and gesture remained recognisable. I was drawn to the gap between appearance and essence, the way we are perceived from the outside without ever being truly known. The glass, with its streaks and halos, becomes the membrane that separates the visible from the inner: within each of us moves a world perhaps still unexplored, perhaps invisible even to ourselves.
