Title:
Archetypal Objects
Description
According to Carl Gustav Jung, archetypes are fundamental psychological patterns and universal archetypes anchored in the collective unconscious of all human beings. They manifest themselves in myths, fairy tales, symbols, dreams, as well as in typical roles and behaviors. About a dozen archetypes shape our lives, including the hero, the rebel, the ruler, the fool, the sage, and more. We encounter archetypes not only in books and films, but also in everyday life. Even objects can radiate the aura of archetypal figures. This observation inspired me to create my photo project, which depicts such objects without people.
