A cold, dark winter’s eve with the only light provided by a blanket of stars – the bothy sanctuary was welcome. As logs were added to the stove, sparks danced into the still night air. This is a 30 second exposure turning those sparks into golden trails – one of which seems to land with me in the photo (I am triggering the camera remotely).
