This photo was taken in Fermoy, County Cork, Ireland on a quite spectacular morning with mist rising and wonderful gentle light adding to their graceful movement. The colour palette appeals to me and I like the interaction between the two swans. Their alignment and direction give a sense of connection and quiet companionship. I think the softness and gentle haze throughout the image really elevates it for me! It feels less like a documentary shot and more like a fine art piece which is one of my favourite genres.
