It’s amazing what captures our attention. I’ve encountered scenes like this throughout my travels but never had the chance to photograph one. The subject may vary from a lone bird instead of hanging shoes, but the minimalist potential is always there. Well…that opportunity presented itself of all unlikely places…Cuba. Against a blank sky, power lines and a dangling pair of shoes came together to create the perfect minimalist composition.
