Title:
Concrete Calm
Description
At the center stands a solitary figure—myself—paused in a moment of reflection. In the constant movement of the city, this brief stillness becomes an act of awareness: a search for calm within the noise of the urban environment. The figure is intentionally small within the frame, allowing the architecture to dominate while simultaneously highlighting human vulnerability and introspection.
The minimalist composition reduces the scene to its essential elements—line, form, and space—guiding the viewer toward a sense of silence within an otherwise rigid and imposing setting. The work invites reflection on how we navigate, endure, and occasionally pause within the “concrete jungle.”
