New concrete staircase in a refurbished old city slaughterhouse. I was immediately enthralled by the light, tones and simple lines as I first entered the space. Old restored parts of the building are in original red brick, whereas the newly erected parts are in light grey smooth concrete to clearly show which parts were saved. The building now serves as city modern art gallery.
