Title: Trees as Poems
Standing straight and stark
Black against the cold white snow
Five larch, facing five
Minimalist photography is like capturing a Haiku in visual form; simple expression of emotion and insight in a moment.
These trees were not on my itinerary as I made my way across the frozen landscape of Hokkaido, Japan. I only stopped for a moment when I saw them so beautifully standing, almost as if the two lines of trees were recognizing each other.
