This is the craziest accidental photo I’ve ever taken. While I was sitting on top of a 40’ rock waiting for my camera to finish up the ~200 shots for a Star Trail image I heard a helicopter approaching. The crazy thing is, it was basically pitch black and it had two spotlights shining down into the pinnacles. I got super lucky that it remained in the frame during its flight. The way it was able to illuminate the rock formations is something I’ll probably never see again.
