“Settled” is the shipwreck remains of the SS Nornen, a Norwegian Barque, that was washed ashore in 1897 onto Berrow Beach, Somerset, UK, during a heavy storm.
She has not moved since but has em-bedded herself and settled into the sand, only to be covered by the tide twice a day.
All that now remains is the wooden hull, which is covered in seaweed but as such has drawn my attention for many years and I never tire from photographing her at all times of the year and under forever changing conditions.
