BB-8 was added to the landscape supposing he was lost in the galaxy and stranded on planet earth, thinking that this cone is a droid and tries to communicate with it.

The scene is inspired by the new Star Wars episodes. After some long exposure shots on the beach I noticed these metal cones which are actually trash containers. Together with the pole in the background, the soft light and beautiful sky it felt like I was in a Star Wars scene. The landscape itself is a long exposure shot of 238 sec.
