Title: Alone In The Cold

About the Photo:
Once in a while, there are objects that grab all your attention because they are the only man-made features around. When I find these rare gems, I love showing their smallness with regards to their natural surroundings while keeping them large enough to still see their true essence. Sometimes they remind gatherings, events, happiness or they fulfill a need. Other times, they call for nostalgia. This series presents a variety of such objects that represent various aspects of our life. I decided to photograph them during winter to let the snow hide natural details and highlight these man-made objects. In some cases, they seem temporally out-of-phase but they recall us that other seasons exist. These photos were all taken in Winter 2020 within 100 km of Quebec City, Canada.
