For some, Praia da Marinha is the most beautiful and best-known beach at the Algarve in Portugal. From here, we hiked eastwards along the cliffs to Praia do Barranquhino and passed many beautiful beaches. All are reachable by boat only. This picture shows Praia do Pau and it is not an aerial capture but actually taken from the top of the cliffs. The umbrellas were being prepared for the arriving sunbathers. Before the wave of tourists arrived, I used the emptiness of the moment to take this capture.
