This picture was taken in Spain, in the neighborhood La Purísima located in the city of Murcia. A suburb divided by railroad tracks that have been forgotten, where children play amongst the wreckage, it promised an urban regeneration which remained incomplete. It was getting dark; rays of light were breaking in between the buildings and the structures. I saw that old factory; a ray of light almost magically divided it by two, and it seemed to abstract the inhabitants from reality. A moment of calm, a breather, a little bit of light in so much darkness.
