This project explores how man’s hand on nature heightens its intrinsic beauty.

I have chosen the eastern plains of Colorado for this work because. The eastern plains of Colorado are a place where the stark earth, hard horizon, and majestic sky combine to create a magnificent scene like no other place I’ve been. It is vast and appears neglected; this couldn’t be further from the truth. This work examines how constructed forms have bettered the landscape by giving human scale to a land and sky without limits.
