The series “Stillness” is a collection of figurative images that point to the fragile nature of existence – of humans and of our planet. They challenge the careless consumption and overconsumption, and consider how Less can be More – more sustainable, more meaningful, more beautiful. Some of the images are inspired by textile artist Tracy Gorman’s work “Toxic Waist” of mannequins in dresses made of debris- batteries, lightbulbs, plastic and other waste.
