As a dancer I have learned to work with the possibilities as well as the limitations of the human body. This series is about creating shapes, using stretchy cloth to further limit movement and abstract the human form in cooperation with a young dancer. I am exploring what our bodies are capable of when dealing with restrictions. How far can we push the limits? When is a shape clearly human and when does it become something else in the eye of the viewer?
