While driving along the Oregon Coast in the Autumn of 2021, I came across these sea stacks at high tide. They are called The Three Graces. I used a ND filter for a long exposure to smooth the water and make the boat traffic disappear. The sea stacks are close to shore and the opposite shoreline was prominent in the scene. By removing the far shoreline and blending the sky with the water, I was able to create an image that evokes for me a sense of calm and solitude.
