The island of La Digue, part of the Seychelles, is well known for its beautiful granite rocks. Mostly they are known from color images depicting the beaches of the island. I wanted to take a different approach, showing these rocks in the sea, with long exposure, making it a poetic black&white scenery. I stayed in the island in August 2022 when generally there is constant wind, the sea is rough and it is often cloudy. That helped to create the special mood of this series of pictures.
The images were all taken with my Fujifilm GPX100S, with long exposures of 1-2 min.
