A shot from a helicopter above the salt pans of the Camargue, South of France. It is a centre of the French sea salt industry. The colour comes from salt loving algae that give flamingos their colour. In this image the salt is beginning to crystallise on the right hand side. Photo was taken May ’23 at about 1000′ up in an open-sided helicopter. Great fun and great for abstracts.
