In creating this body of work, he sought to capture the juxtaposition of yin and yang, using collected plants (flowers, trees, etc.) and objects such as rusted iron against a vast and expressive sky. These black-and-white photographs emphasize texture and form, inviting viewers to find beauty and narrative in the unexpected. The hanging objects evoke a sense of abandonment and freedom, subverting our perception of the mundane and transforming it into a symbol of reality and fiction. The prints are produced by contact printing from digital negatives onto silver halide paper.
