This photograph was taken on a very cold, blustery day in early March. I love how the wind whipped up the snow in the background, obliterating it to some degree. The blowing snow simplified the image allowing the Elm tree to stand out in the storm. I had to stand high on a step ladder in order to unmerge the grasses at the base of the tree from the background.
