Calatrava Cyclist – Andrew Mielzynski
HONORABLE MENTION IN STREET
Andrew Mielzynski
Title:
Calatrava Cyclist
Description
There is a small graceful arch bridge which was designed by the world famous architect, Santiago Calatrava that crosses the Humber River as it enters Lake Ontario in Toronto, Canada. I love the design of this structure and managed to capture a lone cyclist as he crossed on a foggy morning. The minimalist scene highlights the dialogue between human movement, modern architecture, and the quiet atmosphere of Lake Ontario’s shoreline.
