HONORABLE MENTION IN STREET

Title:
Lucēre
Description
In photography, light is everything. It exists in the environment and becomes something we shape through angles, settings, and gear.
Lucēre—Latin for ‘to shine,’ ‘to be bright,’ and ‘to be clear’—explores how light creates motion, depth, and symbolism in visual storytelling. By stripping away color, I isolate light as the primary narrative force, removing the distraction of hue to reveal its essential qualities. Combined with vintage film lenses and tilt-shift techniques for selective focus, this approach produces images that are wholly unique in their clarity and intention.
