At Rauðasandur, in Iceland’s remote Westfjords, the landscape unfolds in rare and unexpected colors. A winding emerald-green river carves its way across the orange-hued sands—an extraordinary palette unique to this place—before merging with the vast expanse of the ocean.
In the distance, curtains of rain drift across the horizon, adding depth and atmosphere to an already otherworldly scene. From above, the composition reveals a quiet harmony of color and form: the soft curves of the river, the warm tones of the beach, and the cool, shifting light of the sea and sky.
