Captured around the “Mausefalle,” where skiers accelerate rapidly into one of the steepest sections, these images use long exposure to dissolve the athletes into motion – reduced to traces of color and direction across the snow.
Between control and collapse, the figure gives way to pure movement – revealing not the athletes themselves, but the forces acting upon them.
