A Tundra Swan stands in the shallow water of Great Salt Lake, which is so large that the horizon disappears on calm days. I spotted a flock of Tundra Swans resting on the lake during their fall migration through the area. I was able to slowly approach the birds on my knees through the shallow water. A lone swan steppped away from the group and I was able to capture this fantastical scene.
