The Geometry of Silence – Ramin Barzegar

HONORABLE MENTION IN ARCHITECTURE

Ramin Barzegar

Title:

The Geometry of Silence

Description

Beyond their practical purpose, buildings hold another existence, one shaped by light, proportion, rhythm, and absence. This series examines architecture as a language of pure form, where structures become symbols rather than places.
Through isolation, minimalism, and abstraction, familiar landmarks are transformed into meditations on balance, solitude, and permanence. Towers rise like silent monoliths, bridges fade into infinity, and facades unfold as intricate visual rhythms. Stripped of narrative and human activity, the images invite contemplation of the hidden order that underlies the built world.
The series explores the space where architecture ceases to be merely functional and becomes poetic, where geometry acquires emotion and silence becomes visible.
