The Silent Palette I – Frank Hoogeboom
HONORABLE MENTION IN LONG EXPOSURE

Title:
The Silent Palette I
Description
This is a quite famous jetty in the Dutch province of Zeeland, shot by many photographers. For me the reason to act a bit different. While this jetty is forked, with two separate sections going each way, I decided to focus on the right part of the jetty and leave the left side out completely. Twisting the angle makes this static image a bit more dynamic. As I am keen on analog photography, I shot this on b&w negative film with my trusty Hasselblad 500C(M). Slowing me down this way adds to the crafting experience of this image.
