From one moment to the next, the house had become vacant. It was June 16, 2022.
My father had fallen and was rushed to hospital.
He never returned to the house where he had lived for the past 40 years.

Suddenly, it was no longer a home, but a brick shell, filled with reflections of what once was and what could have been. All of a sudden, only yesterday existed in the house. The place where lives had played out for over 40 years came to a standstill. Everything became memory.

What was my relationship to this house? Although I had never quite felt at home there, slowly I discovered a connection in objects, atmospheres, shadows.
