Through the Mosslands

Description

Through the Mosslands
In the Lakagígar region of Iceland, an unpaved road cuts gently through an expanse of vivid, almost unreal green moss. Formed over centuries on volcanic ground, the landscape feels soft and otherworldly, absorbing light and sound into its quiet texture.
From above, the winding track becomes a subtle line through the vastness. My small, self-built camper moves along it, its presence modest against the scale of the terrain.
Captured during my 100-day solo adventure across Iceland, “Through the Mosslands” reflects a journey defined by solitude, movement, and the quiet awe of travelling through landscapes that feel both fragile and infinite.
