Throughout my photographic practice, I’ve always found solace by being alone and creating images within the landscape. As pressure mounts, deadlines loom and careful organisation begins to fray, I find release by creating and capturing temporary installations that I feel fit within the landscape.
For this series I created temporary light installations in the landscape. Careful placement in sympathy with it, and careful use of colour allows me to visually represent and come to terms my thoughts and emotions within the enormity of the Australian landscape.
