Title: The calm after the horror

About the Photos:

I spent some time in Lithuania last winter and in my free time I was able to visit several places and cities including Kaunas, where outside the city you can visit the Ninth Fort Museum. A museum that preserves the memory of a place destined for death and deportation. It is estimated that around 50,000 Lithuanian Jews were imprisoned and then killed here. Walking through these places built to be hidden by hills of green grass today a peaceful silence contrasts with what were the historical events. Minimalist images filled beyond the surface with memories of the horror that history has left us.
