Title: Wounded Observer

About the Photo:

Wounded Observer is a visual reflection of emotional exclusion — the quiet ache of being physically present yet emotionally unseen. Taken during a group trip, this image captures my position as an outsider within a collective. The figures, stripped of their identity, represent a deliberate refusal: I would not grant visibility to what wounded me.
As the observer, I remain distant — not as a passive eye, but as someone reclaiming authorship through absence. The image becomes both a wound and a wall. Through minimal composition and monochrome tones, I articulate a space of isolation that lingers in shared moments.
