My continuing ongoing project is called NOIR_.
Inspired by a broad range of black and white cinema (including dystopian sci-fi like Alphaville), not just Film Noir, I’ve found noir and street photography go very well together.
Film Noir arose due to various factors but partly because it was cheap to do and street photography can be accomplished cheaply, one doesn’t need an expensive camera to do it.
It’s also something that can be done anywhere, and each place I visit has their own unique opportunities.
