The historic center of São Paulo is a true mosaic of contrasts, where the past and present meet in an incessant movement. Walking through its narrow streets, many of which have been transformed into pedestrian walkways, is a unique experience that reveals the vibrant and multifaceted soul of the São Paulo metropolis.
As we venture through these roads, we are guided by towering skyscrapers that seem to touch the sky. They not only guide our path but also influence the way sunlight spreads across the city. Depending on the direction and the time of day, the sun struggles to make its presence known, competing for space with the shadows cast by the imposing buildings. This daily battle between light and shadow creates a visual spectacle that reminds us of the constant duality of urban life.
Through the ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) technique, I aim to evoke the magical fusion between the human soul and the imposing urban architecture. Each intentional movement of the camera, like a deliberate dance between light and shadow, transforms the buildings into protagonists of a fluid spectacle, where the rigidity of concrete dissolves into the emotions captured.
